Standard Delivery outside the UK
Cost: £9.00 Royal Mail International Delivery time depends on the destination but is approximately 7 working days but we have seen orders to Ireland taking two weeks. We reserve the right to cover our delivery costs and charge extra for heavier or bulkier shipments to anywhere outside the UK. In such instances, the surcharge will be quoted for your acceptance before your order is finalised. Overseas customers are responsible for complying with their country’s importation laws and taxes, and understand that all goods are shipped at the Purchaser’s risk.

Tracking your Delivery
Miss Milly orders are not shipped on a trackable basis unless you choose the Speedy Delivery within the UK service. If your order has not arrived by the time you expected it, please contact us and we will confirm the date of dispatch and discuss the next steps to take. Please note that Royal Mail does not classify any postal item as lost until 15 working days have lapsed. If you would like a replacement item to be sent out before this time, we will need to hold credit card details for you in the event that the original item turns up too. If you would like to be refunded for a lost item, this can be issued after the 15 working days period has passed and Royal Mail has acknowledged the loss (usually a further 5-7 working days later once a claim has been submitted). Please also note that in the past we have found that the postman has tried to deliver the item but nobody has been in and they have not left a card. So it is always worth checking with your local sorting office as a first port of call, and also checking behind back doors and in dustbins!

The delivery costs for trade orders can be found here.

  • How many people end up doing the job they thought they’d do when younger? I certainly never expected to have my own jewellery and accessories brand and yet, here I am, 22 years later, poised to hand over the reins of Miss Milly to two fabulous people enthusiastically waiting to whisk her off on her next set of adventures!

Serious interlude: we expect the sale to now complete next week at which point the new owners will be in touch.

Named after both my daughter (the real Miss Milly, now loving university life) and my maternal grandmother, the business began way back in 2003 whilst travelling. It was a festival side hustle, then a fledgling business with a shop and homemade website, and then grew into the brand you now know from 2012. I dabbled in shopkeeping again with Miss Milly, The Emporium of Loveliness, and have always kept true to my core fundamentals of colourful, happy, honest and helpful. I firmly believe that if you’ve been brave enough to start your own business, you should also set your own guiding principles. ‘That’s the way it’s done’ is not always necessarily the way it should be done.

It has been a joy to end up working in the giftware industry with so many wonderful people. Sending a huge thank you to all my customers, colleagues and peers, suppliers and industry friends for your orders, support, camaraderie and friendship. I really couldn’t have wished for a better, unexpected career!

And if you want to see what I get up to next, join me at @thejoyfulrucksack for travel fun and adventures. Once a marketer… 😘

I’m carrying on this tradition right to the end of my time with Miss Milly. The brand will not be continuing with the colourful recycled leather bags and purses, preferring to concentrate on the core collections of jewellery and scarves.

So with stock remaining, I got in touch with @fashionbysarahlonergan_ to see if she was open to taking on the remaining stock as I know some of my customers already buy from her. And she was!

For those that don’t know the business, Sarah works from home for herself to be able to spend time with her children as they grow up. She sells to both the general public and the trade. And the BEST bit? You can order the exact design you want!

That should make some of my Miss Milly customers very happy!

Give her a follow on socials and have a look at the website, you won’t be disappointed.
  • With the upcoming sale of Miss Milly later this month, we have added new products to the Sale section of the website to help clear stock before we close to stock-take mid October (date to be confirmed).

The transition to the new owners at the end of the month should be fairly seamless with them planning to continue exactly as is. In the meantime, grab yourself a bargain and help us reduce the number of pairs of earrings we’ll have to count!

Trade customers: we’ll be adding to the Bundles section too.

Collaboration over competition.

I’ve always been a huge believer in the benefits of having a decent relationship with your competitors. You might not share your key sourcing info but having people to turn to with questions on logistics, currency, importing and events is incredibly useful.

With the upcoming sale of Miss Milly later this month, we have added new products to the Sale section of the website to help clear stock before we close to stock-take mid October (date to be confirmed).

The transition to the new owners at the end of the month should be fairly seamless with them planning to continue exactly as is. In the meantime, grab yourself a bargain and help us reduce the number of pairs of earrings we’ll have to count!

Trade customers: we’ll be adding to the Bundles section too.
